Taylor Swift has shared her admiration for three high-achieving Team USA athletes, labeling them as “different visions of greatness”.

The singer heaped praise on athletes Simone Biles, Sha’Carri Richardson, and Katie Ledecky in a new promotional video for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Each of these women has successfully won medals at the Paris Games this year.

Taylor praised the Olympians in a narration for a promotional video for NBC Olympics. Starting with footage of a swimming pool, the singer’s 2015 chart-topping hit Style played over clips of Simone, followed by Sha’Carri and Katie. Taylor offered empowering words of encouragement, saying: “Never be afraid to show them who you are, especially when the whole world is watching.”

With a note of inspiration, she continued: “Because there is no one way to be the best. No one way to inspire everyone else who will someday follow. You do what you love. You love what you do. You believe in your style, whatever it is.”

She concluded by naming the stars individually: “Katie, Sha’Carri and Simone three American stars. Three different visions of greatness. Tonight, in Paris.”

NBC Olympics referenced Taylor’s motivational words in their post of the clip, saying on X: “Never be afraid to show them who you are… especially when the whole world is watching.”

Referencing Taylor’s song, they concluded: “Katie. Sha’Carri. Simone. They’ll never go out of style… #ParisOlympics.” At the 2024 Olympics, it seemed every day was glory day for the three women.

Simone Biles won gold in the individual vault final, her third win of the Paris Games and seventh overall Olympic gold. Meanwhile, Sha’Carri Richardson sprinted home with the silver for Team USA in the women’s 100-meter final. In the race against time, Katie Ledecky swam to her ninth Olympic gold medal victory during the women’s 800-meter freestyle.
