LA Lakers rookie Bronny James got a quick shoutout from his girlfriend, Parker Whitfield, as they celebrated Nationa Boyfriend’s Day on Thursday. Whitfield posted a photo of herself with her man and the iconic Mickey Mouse on her Instagram stories. The rookie guard reposted the story and even had a loving four-word response for his partner.

The two were spotted together multiple times this summer, including during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they watched Bronny’s dad LeBron James play for Team USA. Now, their recent story confirms they are indeed an item.

“Bf day! i love you!” Whitfield posted on Instagram.

“I love you babyyyyy,” James shared the post.

Who is Bronny James’ girlfriend, Parker Whitfield?

According to People.com, Whitfield belongs to a family of celebrities. Her parents are well-known, much like her boyfriend’s parents.

Parker’s father is Dondré T. Whitfield, a famous actor who has been recognized for his impressive talent, as he’s been nominated for an Emmy Award three times. The actor has worked on shows like The Cosby Show, All My Children, and The Jamie Foxx Show.

Meanwhile, Parker’s mother is Salli Richardson-Whitfield. Like her husband, she’s an Emmy-nominated actor for her work in television. She’s also made her mark in the film industry, appearing in such movies as I Am Legend and Black Dynamite. Salli has also directed television shows in the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Punisher.

Salli also directed five episodes of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.

Parker Whitfield is in college, according to People.com. She’s a sophomore at Spelman College, a college in Atlanta. During the time she decided to attend the school, her father applauded her for it and posted on Instagram.

“We are so excited that Parker has chosen @spelman_college as her “great experience”! It will undoubtedly offer her a top tier education, sisterhood and citizenship,” Whitfield posted.

It’s also been reported that Whitfield was part of the softball team when she was in high school. She also went to Sierra Canyon School in California, the same school that Bronny went to before his USC stint.

Whitfield’s Instagram account remains private and only has 6.4k followers.
