Ed Sheeran just started off 2025 strong!
As per the Official Charts, the 33-year-old singer has now secured his eighth Number one album with his recently launched +–=÷× (Tour Collection).
After its 14th week on the charts, with its debut in October 2024, the collection has finally reached the top spot of the chart in UK following its release on an exclusive Blood Records vinyl variant.
It also resulted in +–=÷× (Tour Collection) topping the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, also becoming the most-purchased record in UK independent record shops, being ranked Number one in the Official Record Store Chart.
+–=÷× (Tour Collection) contains Sheeran’s hit song and its live recordings from six of the Shape of You crooner’s previous chart-topping albums, that are: 2011’s +, 2024’s x, 2017’s ÷, 2019’s No.6 Collaborations Project, 2021’s = and 2023’s –.
The rest of the top 5 albums also show promise, with Sabrina Carpenter remaining at a stable number two spot with her album, Short n’ Sweet, SZA on Number three with SOS, Chappell Roan holding the fourth spot with her debut album, The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess and finally Charli XCX on Number five with BRAT.
