Wayne Gretzky’s daughter Paulina celebrates birthday with olive-themed cake [via IG/@paulinagretzky]
NHL legend Wayne Gretzky’s eldest daughter Paulina Gretzky celebrated her 36th birthday with a glamorous party surrounded by close family and friends on Tuesday. Paulina’s father Wayne, her mother Janet, husband Dustin Johnson, brother-in-law Austin Johnson and his wife Samantha, as well as brothers Ty and Trevor Gretzky, with the latter’s partner Ashley Malincha, were also present at the family gathering.
On Thursday, Paulina shared a carousel of pictures on her Instagram featuring special moments from her birthday bash. One of the images showed Paulina and Dustin Johnson posing on a pink couch with striped cushions, beside a wall of seashells and coastal decorations.
Paulina’s birthday cake was shaped like an apple with green frosting and a green olive on top.
“Tini bit older”, read the message on top of the cake and the caption of her post.
Another photo saw Paulina sitting at the dinner table with her parents Janet and Wayne Gretzky, with Dustin Johnson standing behind them. One snap showed Wayne Gretzky, Trevor, Ty Gretzky, Austin Johnson and Dustin Johnson posing together in evening suits. The whole party of guests posed together in front of a clock-themed decorated wall in one of the final images.
Dustin Johnson shared Paulina’s post on his instagram stories and wished her a happy birthday in the caption.

He also shared a heartfelt message on the occasion. He added similar pictures from the evening in the post.

Paulina shared a glimpse of the gathering on her Instagram stories from the special day. The dining room was beautifully set with a dark wooden table covered by a red and black plaid runner. The tables featured golden charger plates, pale blue dinner plates, white napkins with antler-shaped rings, and glass hurricanes with lit candles.

A tall Christmas tree with colorful ornaments added to the holiday spirit, while the living area had black chairs, a cowhide rug and framed family photos. The space also included a bar area with a drink menu for signature cocktails.
Her brother Ty Gretzky attended with his wife, Sara, and their two daughters, Sicily and Vienna. Sara also shared moments from the day on her Instagram, including images of her children on the lawn and enjoying Thanksgiving meals of turkey, macaroni and pasta.
Paulina also posted group photos of the family, with her brother Tristan seen carrying his niece Sicily. Sara shared an adorable picture of her daughters by the Christmas tree and reposted the family group photo.
