In a new interview, Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro’s bond, forged on the set of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, has had a profound impact on their careers and lives.

Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro formed an iconic comedic duo on the hit ’90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air“. Smith has recently revealed the depth of their connection in an episode of Vice’s “Black Comedy in America”.

Smith described Ribeiro as the “first guy” who “understands you in a way that other people don’t.” Ribeiro’s unwavering commitment to his craft earned him the nickname “the comedic limb.” Smith praised Ribeiro’s willingness to “commit so the writers can know it doesn’t work” and his ability to “red-line…giving everything” even before filming had begun.
