Taylor Swift made Jason Kelce an offer that not a lot of people would refuse, but he sure did–and he always will, so he says.
During a Nov. 25 appearance on The Rich Esen Show, the former Philadelphia Eagles star revealed that the pop superstar once left him with what seemed like an open offer he could cash in on at any time; all he had to do was ask.
But according to the newly minted Monday Night Countdown analyst and soon-to-be late-night host, he has never and will never take her up on the proposal because he doesn’t want to cross any boundaries.
“As much as Taylor has said she will take care of anybody that I ask for,” the 37-year-old Super Bowl champ explained, he still won’t be the one to ask her for a favor. “She does say that. She’s great. But I still say no to everybody. I’m not gonna be the one to impose on that.”
The New Heights podcaster continued, gushing over the 14-time Grammy winner and how she’s meshed with their growing family since she started dating his younger brother Travis Kelce about a year ago, “She’s been nothing but lovely to our family. She’s a wonderful person, and I don’t want that to be a dynamic.”
“Where’s the line? Exactly,” he said, explaining that his reasoning for continuously avoiding asking for help getting tickets is out of respect for the pop superstar. “So I’m not even broaching the line. I’m staying away from the line.”
“Thankfully,” he clarified elsewhere in the interview, “I don’t get a lot of people reaching out for Taylor Swift tickets.” That’s likely due to his friends and family knowing him well, because even if he does get a request, “It is an immediate no.”
That said, Jason still found a way to get his whole family to the Eras tour this year. He and his wife, Kylie Kelce, were spotted at a London concert in June and then again when the “Fortnight” songstress made a pit stop in Miami, bringing mom Donna and the couple’s two oldest kids along for their night out.
