Habs forward Patrik Laine is taking time off the ice as he recovers from his ankle injury. On Wednesday, Laine and his fiancee Jordan Leigh enjoyed a cozy date night together.
Leigh posted a couple of pictures from their date night on her Instagram stories. In one picture, she shared a mirror selfie of herself in a black form-fitting SKIMS dress worth CAD 150.

In the second story, she shared a snap of Patrik Laine sitting across from her in a restaurant. Laine wore an all-black ensemble with a black tee and a black baseball cap, smiling into the camera.

Leigh also shared that she is currently working toward completing a half marathon, which is a 13.1-mile race. She posted another mirror selfie in a jacket over a Mickey mouse sweater before she went running.
“We BARELY made it out the door for our 5k yesterday but we did! First run of the week after a weekend of girl tripping is the hardest. The hardest part of half marathon training so far is showing up,” Leigh wrote.
“I see the cute marathon runner girlies take these running selfies so I will too. I’m a strong believer in acting as if. If you want to be ‘her’, you have to start showing up as her long before you actually are ‘her’,” she added in the next story.

Patrik Laine and Jordan Leigh’s Halloween outfits
This year, Patrik Laine and Jordan Leigh brought some creativity to Halloween by dressing up as a Doctor-Nurse duo with a twist. The couple attended a Halloween party where Laine took on the role of the nurse, wearing a white outfit accessorized with fishnet stockings, a red garter, and heeled boots. He completed his look with glasses and a wig.
Meanwhile, Jordan Leigh flipped the classic pairing by suiting up as the doctor. With a lab coat, oversized syringe, and a fake mustache, she put a cheeky spin on the look. The two were joined by friends dressed in costumes ranging from astronauts to retro-inspired getups, and Leigh shared photos from the evening on her Instagram stories.

Last year the couple dressed as Shrek and Princess Fiona alongside Adam Fantilli as Donkey, from the mega hit Shrek franchise. Laine wore a white tunic, brown vest, Shrek ears, and green face paint.
Jordan Leigh dressed in a green dress, a red wig, and a tiara. Meanwhile, Adam Fantilli sported a gray donkey suit with ears and a tail, while holding a box of Eggo waffles as a prop.
