Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Sings Christmas Songs
Football player Travis Kelce – Taylor Swift’s boyfriend – has contributed vocals to his brother’s album “A Philly Special Christmas”.
On Instagram on October 29, a behind-the-scenes video recording the recording of the song It’s Christmas Time (In Cleveland Heights) – one of the 12 songs on the album – reached more than 500,000 views in just a few hours.
Although Travis Kelce did not appear in the video, his voice still attracted attention when he sang the line: “Wandering the streets of my hometown, must have been years since I’ve been home”. Many people praised the player’s singing ability, saying they were surprised when he sang. Some accounts even joked that perhaps Taylor Swift was the one who guided her boyfriend.
A Philly Special Christmas is an annual Christmas music project by Travis Kelce’s brother, former Philadelphia Eagles football player Jason Kelce, and former teammates Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata, since 2022. All profits are donated to Philadelphia charities.
The Kelce brothers’ duet was released on November 1, opening this year’s A Philly Special Christmas album. According to Marca, the content is a tribute to Jason and Travis’ hometown of Ohio, inspired by the snow-covered streets of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, in the last days of the year.
This is not the first time Travis has sung with his brother. In November 2023, the two introduced the recording Fairytale of Philadelphia, which topped the US iTunes chart. According to US Weekly, many Taylor Swift fans supported the song, helping to increase streaming. On the New Heights podcast at the time, Travis Kelce thanked his girlfriend’s fans for helping the song chart so high.
