WNBA fans reacted to Kate Martin‘s signing with the Unrivaled. The Las Vegas Aces guard is the 27th WNBA player to sign with the league.
One of the recurring names mentioned in the comment section on X (formerly Twitter) was Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark.
“The Caitlin Clark stimulus is still going strong. Congrats Kate,” a fan wrote.
Clark and Martin have been close since their days with the Iowa Hawkeyes. With Martin now signed, some fans speculated that Clark might soon join Unrivaled.

Kate Martin was one of the top names in the jersey sale this WNBA season. Despite being a rookie and playing very few minutes on the floor, Martin remained a fan favorite.
The Las Vegas Aces guard averaged only 11.5 minutes per game in her rookie season.
Martin’s signing with Unrivaled could be a valuable step in her career. The former Iowa player will gain exposure similar to the WNBA.
Additionally, the experience could benefit the Aces guard by allowing her to test her skills against top WNBA talent, potentially helping her earn more trust from Becky Hammon next season.
