Many fans of male singer Ed Sheeran were excited to see their idol appear in a scene from Game of Thrones.

Sunday’s episode featuring Ed Sheeran was the first episode of the seventh season of the popular HBO drama.
Not only did she appear in the movie, the Shape of You singer also had the opportunity to show off her singing talent, singing a few lines in the scene when the character played by actress Maisie Williams arrived.
This isn’t the first time Game of Thrones has had a cameo. Previously, members of the bands Coldplay, Sigur Rós and Snow Patrol also appeared in this film.
Snow Patrol members Gary Lightbody and Sigur Ros’s Jónsi Birgisson also showed off their singing voices in the film.
This is also not the first time Ed Sheeran has participated in a TV series. Previously, he played the role of Sir Cormac in the movie The Bastard Executioner on FX channel.
