A new story says that Travis Kelce is only thinking about Super Bowl rings though after being with Taylor Swift for almost a year.

Multiple sources told Us Weekly in a story released Tuesday that the Chiefs tight end and the pop star will not be getting engaged any time soon.

“Travis has no plans to ask Taylor to marry him,” a source said.

“He hasn’t even thought about it.” The person went on to say, “He takes marriage very seriously and would never jump into it without giving it a lot of thought.”

A different source said that the athlete “cares deeply” about the Love Story singer, but that “he’s just not there yet” when it comes to proposing.

A source close to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce said, “Travis has no plans to propose to Taylor.”

Our source told us that the athlete wasn’t ready to kneel down.

Another source put an end to rumors earlier this year that the two were going to get engaged this summer.

The source told the news outlet, “Things are going great between them, but they haven’t been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.”

“A lot of their loved ones” would be happy to see Kelce get down on one knee, they said, and “some may even believe” that it will happen, but not “anytime soon.”

There have been different stories about whether the couple, who are both 34, will get married.

A source told Life & Style earlier this month, “The timing is right.” The source also said that the three-time Super Bowl winner was “under pressure to propose” to the 14-time Grammy winner.

That makes sense—they’ve been together for almost a year and are deeply in love, so they’d be talking about getting married.

This person also said that Kelce might be planning a “grand gesture” when he kneels down.

They started dating in the middle of 2023, after the Chiefs player went to one of her Eras Tour shows.
