Ed Sheeran‘s very unlikely cameo on The Block has resurfaced as the popular Channel Nine show marks its 20th anniversary.
The singer, 33, shocked fans when he made a surprise appearance on the hit property competition in 2013 at the season six auction.
Host Scott Cam stunned The Block contestants and the live audience alike when he confirmed the The A Team would be taking to the stage.
The audience was stunned into silence as they listened to his low-key solo performance in a hugely unexpected treat.
Video footage of the jaw-dropping cameo has resurfaced as The Block marks its 20th anniversary this year.
The 20th anniversary series of The Block is set to air next month, after filming kicked off on Phillip Island in April.
At the time, presenter Shelley Craft, who provides emotional support for contestants on the show, took to her socials to confirm the news.

‘Filming of The Block 2024 is on the way,’ Shelley wrote alongside a picture of herself and Scott on set.
This year’s milestone series has already been rocked by difficulties as the Blue Team’s Jesse and Paige, from WA, reportedly quit just five weeks into filming.
The shock decision was said to be of the pair’s own accord and it has been claimed they will be replaced by another eager pair on the 2024 series.
Also among the cast are married couple Kristian and Mimi Belperio, from Adelaide, who will make up the Purple Team.
The pair are no strangers to the spotlight after the pair went viral on TikTok for their Disney themed wedding in Adelaide in 2023.

It has already been teased that Team Purple will bring the drama for the 20th anniversary season.
A source told Yahoo Lifestyle: ‘The feeling is that we have bought some serious dynamite with these two and we are just waiting for an explosion.’
Queensland couple Kylie and Brad Vines will compete as the Green Team, while Victorian best pals Ricky, 34, and Haydn, 37, will be on the Yellow Team.
New South Wales-based couple Courtney, 32, and Grant, 29, are also set to take on the show’s chaos as the Red Team.
Daily Mail Australia revealed a Channel Nine-owned company purchased Island Cove Villas on Phillip Island for a whopping $9.5million ahead of the new series.
Situated two-and-a-half hours from Melbourne, the location currently features nine homes, a communal pool, a BBQ pavilion, tennis court and a children’s playground.
Local residents even created a Facebook page dedicated to posting rumours, photos and videos of the highly-anticipated season.
