Caresha and Tia Kemp get real about toxic relationships, self-worth, and the importance of supporting each other on IG Live.

Caresha and Tia Kemp Discuss Toxic Relationships on IG Live: "Rick Ross Was Just a Mean Person

Girls’ Caresha (aka Yung Miami) and Tia KempRick Ross’ baby mama, recently had a candid conversation on Instagram Live about the toxicity they’ve experienced in past relationships. The two women bonded over their shared experiences, keeping it real about the struggles they’ve faced and how they’ve grown from them.

During the live, Tia opened up about her past with Rick Ross who made it difficult for her to even imagine being in the same room with him now. “The things he said to me in the past, he didn’t expect this,” Tia shared, referencing how the tables have turned. “I can’t even imagine him looking me in my face and even being cordial with me right now. It won’t feel right, ‘cause he was such a mean person.”

Caresha quickly jumped in, reminding everyone that even though things might’ve ended badly, it doesn’t erase the love or intimacy that once existed. “You was just messing with that man last year,” she pointed out, hinting at how complicated feelings can be. But Tia was clear—just because she was with him doesn’t mean he wasn’t treating her poorly.

Tia then dove deeper, sharing some of the hurtful things he used to say to her to keep her self-esteem low. “Tell you you ugly, you this, you that, just to make that stuff feel good. Well, you know you ain’t ugly!” Caresha backed her up, reminding Tia of her worth and shutting down the negativity.

The conversation got even more real when Tia explained how these toxic comments were more about control than truth. “I’m ugly when you want me to lay, right? You don’t even want to be going out. That’s so I don’t mess with other dudes. That’s to lower my self-esteem. First of all, I know I ain’t ugly, but it’s to create hostility where he could go do what he do.”

Tia didn’t hold back, exposing how her ex wanted to have a say over her life so she would always rely on him. “That’s a man that don’t want to see you do nothing in life. They want to have control over your life so you could depend on them.”

The convo ended on a positive note, with Tia emphasizing that she’s not that type of person. “I want to see everybody win,” she said, making it clear that she’s all about empowerment and growth now.
