August 9, 2024 – On a beautiful afternoon at Oakdale Golf and Country Club, the fifth annual @zachhymangolf event was a tremendous success, thanks to the enthusiastic support of volunteers, sponsors, athletes, and the club itself. This year’s event marked a significant milestone, achieving new heights of success and engagement.
Zack Hyman, the star of the Edmonton Oilers and the founder of the event, along with his teammate Connor McDavid – the Oilers’ captain and one of the NHL’s top players – made for an exciting and meaningful day of golf. Both athletes, with their passion for the sport, contributed not only by playing but also by supporting and advancing community development through this event.
This year’s @zachhymangolf event attracted not only sports fans but also the business community and sponsors, whose contributions were instrumental in the event’s success. Special thanks go to Oakdale Golf and Country Club for providing an ideal venue with top-notch facilities and professional service.
Zack Hyman expressed his deep gratitude to everyone involved and supportive of the event. He said, “We are thrilled that this year’s event exceeded our expectations. The support from volunteers, sponsors, and especially the athletes, played a major role in the event’s success. We hope to continue receiving this support in the coming years to maintain and grow this event.”
Connor McDavid also shared his thoughts on the event: “It was a fantastic day. I’m proud to be involved and support Zack in this event. Golf is an important part of my life, and being part of this event to raise funds and support the community is very meaningful.”
The @zachhymangolf event has become a key fundraising activity, attracting not only renowned athletes but also providing an opportunity for the community to come together and contribute to charitable and social causes. With this year’s success, the event promises to continue growing and drawing even more attention in the future.
