During the 2024 WNBA season, Caitlin Clark was all business as she led the Indiana Fever to a postseason berth. Despite the grind of the regular season though, Clark would sometimes give a glimpse of her unserious side. These were few and far between though, as she was locked in on her goals.

Her dedication paid off, leading the Fever to its first postseason berth since 2016 and also allowing her to win the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year award. Now that the Fever’s season is over, she showed her playful side once again.

The Fever shared a behind-the-scenes on X (formerly Twitter) of Clark’s photoshoot with the ROTY trophy. In it, she showed that she can be goofy. Watch the behind-the-scenes clip here.

Caitlin Clark led all rookies in her class in points (769), assists (337) and steals (53). Additionally, she led all rookies in per-game averages in these three statistical categories.

She also broke several records, including Seimone Augustus’ record for most points scored by a rookie which was set in ’06. Augustus scored 744 points in her first WNBA season while Clark had 769, which also leads the Fever in most points scored this season.

Clark also showcased her playmaking prowess, setting the WNBA’s single-game assist record. The Fever rookie dished 19 assists against the Dallas Wings on Jul. 17, which broke Courtney Vandersloot’s record. She also set the record for most assists in a single season in league history with 337 dimes.

“Give us the goofy photos too,” another person said.

Meanwhile, other people commented on her winning her first major WNBA trophy.

“I wonder if this one is going into the closet with the rest of the trophies,” one person said.

“Does she rent a warehouse to store all her trophies?” One fan asked.

“First trophy of many!” Another chimed in.

Caitlin Clark played and started in all 40 games in her rookie year. In those 40 games, she averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists. Her elite play resulted in her being named to her first All-Star team and she also ended up being fourth place in the MVP voting.

While these are impressive numbers, Clark is still developing her game and is yet to hit her prime. Should she continue in the direction she’s trending towards, it isn’t a far-fetched idea that she would eventually bring home more trophies.
