NaLyssa Smith is coming off her third season with the Indiana Fever, who drafted her second overall in 2022. With Smith enjoying her offseason, car salesman Borday Arnee shared a snap of Smith’s $45,000 Audi on Instagram and her request for a new modification for her car. The 2025 Audi Q5’s price tag is listed on the brand’s website.
This season, the Fever forward put up 10.6 points (48.0% shooting, including 29.2% from beyond the arc) and 7.1 rebounds in the 40 games she played. She was a pivotal piece of the team’s rotation as she provided quality minutes at the frontcourt spot alongside Aliyah Boston.

NaLyssa Smith talks about her third season with the Indiana Fever
Coming off her first two seasons with the team, where she put up excellent scoring averages of 13.5 and 15.5 points, her offensive production was not the same in her third outing with the team.
She highlighted how her third season with the squad was not the ideal one she preferred in the process, as per Indy Star’s Chloe Peterson.
“Everybody comes into the season thinking they’re going to have this outstanding accolade, achievement, you know, season,” Smith said. “I feel like I didn’t get to do as much as I wanted to do. I didn’t get to contribute as much as I want to contribute.”

Despite being an important aspect of the team, Smith acknowledged her shortcomings this season and points of improvement for her fourth year with the Fever franchise. Not every basketball season will go as an athlete plans it to, and Smith capped off her third year with a feeling of disappointment.
There were a lot of new pieces involved with the Indiana Fever this season. From the arrival of WNBA ROTY Caitlin Clark to the continuous rise of Aliyah Boston. Smith remains an integral part of the team’s success, but Indiana has also thrived in utilizing the strengths of its guard play.
Clark has elevated the team’s offensive process with how precisely she sets up her teammates and runs specific sets on the court.
This style of play allows the team to play in a variety of ways to yield the best possible results in each matchup. The Fever also have the option at the frontcourt spot with the tandem of NaLyssa Smith and Aliyah Boston for some looks under the basket.
