“Somebody Save Me” featuring Jelly Roll has been chosen as the third single to represent Marshall’s latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”.

The song has proved to be one of the fans’ favourites, though it doesn’t chart as high as, for instance, “Fuel”, “Renaissance”, or “Habits”. However, there is no denying that the song bears a deep meaning and might be very important for Marshall personally. There’s a raw honesty in this track that strikes a chord. Moreover, its connection to “Mockingbird” is evident and “Mockingbird” shows that sincerity and vulnerability could resonate with the audience for years to come, even if the song doesn’t catch up with the listeners from the start.

Also, Jelly Roll’s “Save Me”, sampled for the chorus, has already had significant radio success, and the chances are that it might help Eminem’s song to get more airplay.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter much whether the decision to release “Somebody Save Me” as a single was a strategic one or straight from the heart. We wish it the best performance and everlasting fan love.
