NBA fans expressed their reaction to Draymond Green’s conversation with a referee during the Warriors-Pelicans game at the Chase Center on Tuesday. The Warriors hosted the Pelicans at their home arena and secured the win with a final score of 106-124.

Bricks Center, a sports page, uploaded the video of Warriors star Draymond Green having a friendly conversation with a referee on X, formerly Twitter. They accompanied a caption praising Green for his behavior.

“Draymond is a changed man.”

The fans flooded the comments section with their opinions on the interaction.

“Watching Draymond act like a normal human being genuinely brought tears to my eyes.”

Other fans joined the bandwagon and expressed similar sentiments in the comments section.

“Draymond not being a trouble. I’m finally old,” @InfinityStein said.

“First time since he was drafted to tap a ref shoulder,” @gingenitruman said.

“He learned his lesson and realized the team needs him,” @ImShyLabz said.

Another fan highlighted Stephen Curry’s absence from the game as he was out with an ankle injury and linked it to his surprise at witnessing Green’s behavior on the court.

“I’m surprised. Usually he tries to get himself ejected when Steph doesn’t play,” @WigginsWick22 said.

“Reverse that scoreboard and he’d be losing his mind,” @MazzullaSZN said.

In the video, Draymond Green is seen having a conversation with a ref, after which he taps on his shoulder and leaves to go back on the court.

The fans were surprised to see Green’s behavior as the Warriors star became notoriously famous for getting in trouble with the refs and even getting suspended in extreme scenarios.

Last season, Green had 10 technical fouls and was ejected four times, which was not a great display for a four-time NBA champion like him.

So far, Green has been mindful of his behavior and has only received a single tech in the current season.

Draymond Green and Buddy Hield lead the Golden State Warriors to a great comeback

The Pelicans delivered a dominating performance coming in at the Chase Center. The Zion Williamson-led squad established an early lead in the first quarter by outscoring their opponents 31-14. The Pelicans kept their foot on the gas and maintained a lead going into halftime.

However, the Warriors flipped the game in the second half. They outscored the visitors 28-40 in the third quarter and finished the game with a 27-37 run in the final quarter.

Draymond Green played a great supportive role and dished out 7 assists. He also collected 3 rebounds and scored 3 points.

Buddy Hield emerged as the star in Steph Curry’s absence and scored 28 points, going 7 for 11 from downtown, to secure the win for his team.
