Female writer JK Rowling, author of the best-selling Harry Potter series, made her neighbors angry because she trimmed the giant shrub surrounding her luxury apartment in Edinburgh – England, blocking traffic in the area.

Around JK Rowling’s house, a series of Leylandii trees were planted as hedges. However, this plant grows extremely quickly and needs to be pruned regularly. Recently, while JK Rowling was traveling and posting many photos on social networking sites, the gardening team was trimming the trees surrounding her house.

Due to its large size, it took them 3 days to complete and used many signal poles to limit traffic in the pruning area. “The fence is clearly to prevent curious people from looking into JK Rowling’s house. Gardeners need up to 3 days of pruning. Everything here is so chaotic, the signal lights are longer, warning signs along the road… causing traffic obstruction” – said a neighbor.
